Program Description

Mentors, Music, & Sports, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is based in Haines City Florida. This program is for AT-RISK YOUTH, ages 13-17, who need GUIDANCE and MOTIVATION to navigate through the many challenges they face growing up in inner cities.

Day-to-day operations of the organization are run by volunteers who have a passion for at-risk youth. The organization currently consists of four major programs: (1) Music, (2) Sports, (3) Performing Arts, and (4) The Arts:

1. Music – the music program is broken down into subcategories of musical instrument performance, recording/audio arts, and musical performance.

2. Sports – the sports program mainly focuses on individual training for sports such as basketball, baseball, and football, as well as general strength and conditioning.

3. Performing Arts – the performing arts program include various forms of dance and theatre.

4. The Arts – the arts program focuses on activities such as drawing/painting, graphic design, and video
production.
